Hideo Sashinaka

Vice President of Engineering

Hideo Sashinaka has over 25 years of experience in the electric power industry. He is currently responsible for assessing, steering and supervising the technical issues for our power facilities and researching future available technology.

Prior to joining J-POWER USA, Hideo was the owner’s engineer in the development and construction of the state-of-the art coal-fired power plants in Japan, making use of his operation and maintenance experience. Hideo also has experience in performing investment evaluations from a technical and financial perspective for new development projects.

Hideo holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Tokyo University and also a Master of Mechanical Engineering from Tokyo University.
